52 new leads in the last few weeks
Mike was referred to us by another supplier nearly two years ago as we were looking for someone to help us with our marketing at the time.
In that time Mike has created a shiny new website to replace a very tired old one, Next was an Adwords campaign to drive traffic to the website. This has resulted in a regular stream of traffic and new prospects. He’s also created a database of prospects in the local area which we communicate with very regularly via email and direct mail. This task was an extraordinary undertaking as Mike’s company usually provide services only to customers in the UK. I met Mike at a networking meeting and was immediately very impressed with the logical interesting and innovative advice that he offered on Marketing. We agreed that we would really benefit from his Marketing Fundamentals Workshop.
We conducted the workshop over two sessions. In our first session we spent a great deal of time analysing the services we offer and deciding a strategy for how to grow the business. Having only been in business full time for a few months, it was great to see it growing, but we really felt a little like ‘headless chickens’ in our strategy! Technically this wasn’t part of the Fundamentals workshop, but we really appreciated Mike’s outside and logical analysis of our business and recommendations in deciding a strategy. It is often really difficult to ‘see the wood from the trees’ when you are a small business, Mike’s advice gave us the opportunity to do that.
Mike also helped us to agree exactly what our business does and what benefits it offers. It was surprisingly difficult to find a succinct way of saying this, but he explained that this is what our customers will need to see. In the workshop we agreed clear strategies to help us focus our marketing efforts on reaching our real customers. We no longer feel that the advertising and marketing we pay for is a ‘shot in the dark’, but a reasoned approach. Mike even made contact on our behalf with local advertisers who he felt would be of benefit to our marketing strategy and put us in touch with them.
Throughout the workshop, Mike was extremely personable and professional, his knowledge and experience really shone through. Mike’s assistance was invaluable and we would thoroughly recommend him to any SME’s who need help to grow.
